We have dealt with Scott many times in past so I wouldn't think of anyone else handling our money! He knows us and what we are looking for! Scott knows us and our needs Scott knew our bottom line pricing and negotiated until we were happy! This sell was bittersweet because it was our first we purchased in North Myrtle beach and the first time we met Scott and since then 6years ago and many more since then! Scott came highly recommend by a friend of my parents in selling their home. As their son and POA, I was tasked with selling their home NMB while I live in Charlotte, NC. Best on the beach

We were referred to Scott by two friends who had used him when purchasing their beach properties. We used him as well when we purchased our property. That experience, plus the continued support he provided after the closing made it an easy decision to use him to sell our property. Our property sold in 3 days. While we would like to take credit for that due to the improvements we made to the property we have to share the credit with Scott. Pricing it right and marketing it well played a big role. So kudos to him. He obviously is great at his job and his performance reflected that. What sets him a part from others is his commitment to his clients. In both the purchase and the sell of our property it never felt like a transaction. Due to his genuine care for his clients working with him felt like we were working with family. That continued long after we purchased our property. In the 7 years between when we purchased and then sold, Scott would routinely check in on us. That's care and commitment.

We were not your typical North Myrtle Beach buyers: not only did we live out of state, we live out of the country in Barbados. So sifting through at one point over 300 listings within our desired price range and the added pressure of our limited time on the ground made trust our biggest unknown. Scott not only gained our trust, he went far beyond to the point where his "no, not that one, let me tell you why" was reassuring that we had picked the right partner to guide us through the local real estate arena in a raging seller's market. After a trip to North Myrtle Beach, SC, our family talked about buying an oceanfront condo. Our daughter, began looking at condos on Realtor.com. She called about a condo and talked to Scott Mathews. That condo was not a good fit for us. I began searching and found a condo. We knew from talking to Scott he would be the agent that we wanted to help us purchase our new beach condo. Scott was fantastic!!! We cannot adequately express what a great agent/person Scott is! Like any superhero he went above and beyond. Because we were buying sight unseen and lived over 650+ miles away he helped us with many things we were unable to do. We had a difficult time with Spectrum (cable/internet). We don’t know what we would have done without him!! We feel blessed that he is our agent! Scott went above and beyond what most realtors do. We were buying a property sight unseen (a little scary)! Scott took a detailed video of the property. It was so good we felt like we had been with him on the tour! We went back to the video many times!! Scott was readily available for any questions/and or concerns we had! We feel that he always had our best interests in all his dealings!! Again, Scott was just great!! We feel like moving forward if we have any questions Scott will still be there to help us! We would like to think we made a friend, too!!
